Game teams are formed by grade all girls will be placed on a team by their grade, if you need to be placed with another cheerleader for "carpool" reasons the older child will be placed wit the younger child and NOT the other way around,
We will begin practicing in july, wed and friday evenings. Last game ends mid November- when we end our season with an ice cream party. For the first 2 months we are outside, appropriate dress is shorts (not jean shorts) T-shirt or tank top- form fitting, hair in a ponytail and until cheerleading sneakers have been ordered thru the league gym sneakers. Please bring a water bottle and use the bathroom before practice. Due to the facilities parents may stay but is not recommended. Once we get into the schools parents may NOT stay at practices, get in the habit of your child not counting on you at practices.
We cheer for the boys tackle football teams on sundays beging in sept, games may range from 9am -4pm and are mainly played at the high school middle school or on our new football field located behind sawmill, some teams may be required to travel, but it does not happen often. These games may conflict if you have a child playing football, no request for specific times or games are granted.
Uniforms belong to the league- we loan them to you , you must take care of them. Additional parts of the uniform must be purchased by you and are required at a nominal fee, each cheerleader will purchase thru the league, bow, crop top, briefs, socks and sneakers. Additionally, in cold weather cheerleaders may want the sweatsuit offered or they may wear plain red sweatshirt and pants, if not supplied from the league there may be no writing on the sweatsuit at all, no abercrombie, or hollister.
